Your nervous system has to feel safe enough to heal. When we live in a chronic cycle of fight, flight, and freeze, patterns of protection replace patterns of connection.
Yet, we have immense capacity in our bodies to heal and retune our nervous systems to be able to access that grounded state in which we feel safe and receptive to the world again. This starts with rebuilding our foundation of safety.
No amount of healing can take place in an environment that does not feel safe.
