Meet Brityn
Neuroscience-Based Embodiment Guide
Hey friend! I’m Brityn (she/her). I’m a nervous system enthusiast, paradigm-shifter, professional silly goose, big-time foodie, perpetual student, proud dog parent, and human being.
I’m a nerd of many specific niches, and I absolutely love to dance. I’m a pretty good hula-hooper, and I’m not too shabby at trivia. I would love to learn to garden someday, and I don’t like to put myself or others in a box.
I love learning about the cool things that make us human. I’m devoted to my own liberation and am always working to free myself of the conditioning of societal expectations and the cultural norms that do not serve our humanity, while allowing myself to be human in the process.
My professional roots are in physical therapy where I specialize in working with those with chronic pain and chronic illness from the nervous system perspective.
I study healing work from multiple lenses including somatics, modern human neuroscience, child development and trauma, social systems and social justice, community healing, energy and spirituality, and more. I believe in building a foundation of safety that includes play, humor, pleasure, connection, community, self-compassion and radical self-love.
One of my biggest passions in life is to help others become more connected to their bodies and inner wisdom, so they can live their lives with the presence and liberation they were always meant to have.
